What is Permission Marketing?
Permission Marketing's goal is to persuade consumers to voluntarily pay attention or "raise their hands" and agree to learn more about a product or service over time and frequency. It is completely voluntary and based on trust and education. Once you grasp permission marketing, you'll quickly start to wonder why anyone uses outdated "interruption" techniques. The old ways of advertising "interruption" just don't work as well as they used to. Here's why: 1) There's so much of it we've grown immune to it 2) The rise of the Internet means that consumers can avoid it easily We are entering an era that's going to change the way everything is marketed to everyone. The only kind of advertising you've likely ever used is what I now call "Interruption Marketing" and that is a dying model. Permission marketing, however, works very well, it's easier to track (ROI), and isn't complicated. Using permission marketing, I automatically build strong, loyal relationships with all of my prospects and past clients without necessarily ever talking with them. Even if they're not buying a home for 6 months or more, this ensures that they will use me as their agent when they do.
