Step 5 - "Close the Deal"
I learned early on to hire an assistant to handle my paperwork. With the volume I do, I'd spend half my month processing the files to make sure all the closing were smooth and on time. Hire an assistant, and make it his or her sole responsibility to take your files from pending to close…nothing else. You will see your income increase and your level of stress decrease almost overnight. Another thing you might consider is hiring that assistant and training them to make the initial phone calls as well. It will free up a lot of your time to show more homes, close more deals, and focus on growing your business. Make sure you follow the laws of your state when doing this. Most states require an assistant like this to be licensed.
